A Celebration of God's Favor

This is a quite late post - been busy enjoying new life's chapter as a "wife" yihiiiii!
I am very excited to share with you, my dear readers, about God's FAVOR on our wedding day last Dec 5, 2014. Yay! It's our 3rd month already as husband and wife and life is really getting better :)

If I have noted in a personal diary all the kind favors we have received from the first day of our wedding prep, for sure it will be a thick note. But I was able to kept them in my heart ^.^- not washable and will never fade. My husband and I are really grateful to God who authored and prepared everything for us as well as the people He used to generously help us. What an amazing journey to revisit!

The preparation is really tiring if you'll do it with full time work at the same time. Oh, juggling things and desiring details to be organized, is really stressful. Yes, physical body will get tired but I tell you, if you are looking forward to something beautiful, you will never get drained. This celebration is a manifestation of God's generosity and faithfulness. December 5th served also a thanksgiving day for 7 years of being together. With God's provision, a rustic themed wedding was created. I am still in awe every moment I look back on how it was celebrated.

And here's the amazing testimony...
Did you know that there was a strong typhoon "Ruby" announced on the week of our wedding? Wow! Our faith was really shaken. We never let our fears and worries dominated that time. Instead, we earnestly prayed for a favorable weather together with our supportive friends and loved ones. God answered our prayer!!! We have seen a smiling sunshine that Friday morning till the end of our reception program in the night, we never felt any storm effect - no rainfall all throughout the day. What an amazing story of favor to testify.

Isaiah 25:1
O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them.

Special thanks to our dear family and friends who celebrated with us. To our beloved parents, thank you for your support and unending love.

To our suppliers, you are much appreciated! You have been so generous in giving your full skills and talents to make our "rustic themed" wedding a success. You guys rock! God bless you with overflowing clients ;)

Expanded 2014

This is my journal for the year of 2014. Tested, broken, restored and strengthen. It was a year of "Expansion" in general. By God's grace, I've endured and at the end of the year I received the reward.

January
Welcomed the year with the prophetic word "Expansion". Excited hearts were ready!

February

Experienced the best night ever! The wedding proposal night - sweetest date ever.
Overwhelmed with the love my man has been showering over the years of our relationship.

March

God pushed me to get out of my comfort zone and explore new environment. I applied for a new job with the courage that I confidently know came from the Lord. He was cooking something then for me which he has revealed in May the same year.

April

New job - adjustment period - divine guidance.
Not so smooth month. My mother was sick but by the grace of God, the gallbladder operation was successful. We have experienced supernatural provision - praise God!

May

God has started to test my faith from the very beginning of our wedding preparations. We were praying then for God's intervention, provision and strength. This was also the time when God has broken me with something he revealed from the past. Cried a lot but God opened my eyes to see His will and purpose from that pain.
God made me stronger and really felt His gracious love.

June

Was able to see Hillsong United Concert in Manila - goosebumps! Spirit-filled, singing to glorify one name - no other name - JESUS! We also had a Catalyst Expand Conference which was also filled with wisdom and inspiration.

July

God thought us how to live by faith and not by sight.

August

Still on a high for wedding preparations and what-not.

September

Started the major moves for the wedding. Been very busy but productive days at work.

October

Leaders' Night, Vision for Discipleship
Favored Engagement shoot :)

November

God tested us beyond our limits and it was at the edge where we discovered our greatest faith in the Lord.
(Will expand and blog about this, soon!)

December

Ohh, praise God! We have a joyous and glorious wedding! Bring back all the glory and honor to our God Almighty!
